Very good food and dishes, good service. As a hotel guest, the very rich and varied breakfast is also presented here, a pleasure. Only the agreement within the team sometimes does not work so well, hence 1 point deduction.

We wanted to take advantage of the autumn sun and stop on the gravel area in front of the restaurant. As requested by a poster, we patiently waited for a waiter to be assigned a seat. When a waiter finally noticed us, he assigned us a place in the shade. It was uncomfortable there because of the temperatures. I asked if we could not have another place in the sun, especially since there were still enough tables available, although the chairs were leaning against the table at an angle. That should probably signal that you are not allowed to sit there. He categorically and unfriendly refused this, pointing out that he was "not opening any new tables" because it was too much service effort. We could also wait until other guests had finished their drink and made space. However, they still had the glass half full. We saw at least 3 waiters who were obviously unable (?) Or willing to serve other guests. In times of Corona I had two different experiences with hosts. There are innkeepers who are committed, take on additional burdens and improvise in order to compensate for losses caused by the Corona crisis. My great respect goes to them and I am always happy to be a guest there. And there are others who complain of losses, unwilling to get involved. This behavior of the staff is absolutely incomprehensible, especially in these times when we are increasingly faced with restrictions.

Great seasonal food in a nice restaurant with great service.

Were there for coffee and cake. There was a good variety of cakes. The prices are ok. We just didn't understand why you couldn't order anything warm on the balcony.

Good location, great service and great views. The food tastes as usual and you don't have to wait long, but you should make a reservation and you won't necessarily find a place to park.

Very unfriendly service. Here people are treated according to their appearance. Definitely not to be recommended!

Nice but no WOW effect ... Of course, it's nice to be able to eat right by the water, especially when the weather is great and with a wonderful view of the lake. Nevertheless, we were a bit disappointed with the value for money after reading such a good online review. We have ordered: Spritz for 2 small fish soup and porcini cappuccino Loup De mer and poached whitefish Riesling bottle 2017 Espresso for 2 Total: € 135 excluding tip The fish soup unfortunately only tasted like stock, but the fish itself was ok. The mushroom cappuccino was just ... Much too creamy (but expensive like pure porcini mushrooms). The sea bass tasted like little and the side dish was definitely warmed up in the micro. I liked the whitefish, but there was far too much butter on the plate (poached = butter ??) and the side dish was unfortunately not that special either. Everything was well prepared, but could also have been nicer ... anche l occhio vuole la sua parte, they say in Italy;) The service was really nice, but also a bit restless and overloaded, and at the beginning it sounded very hectic and rackzack. So not completely pleasant / stress-free. Someone from the team kindly looked after our dog and offered water. We thought that was great! Nevertheless, thanks to everyone, because we are human and it is sometimes difficult to operate well when there is a lot going on. Conclusion: very good for a drink in between or in the evening, nice atmosphere with nice music. Not recommended for special occasions or if you want to impress someone with a lunch / dinner;) LG

If the summer weather is again wonderful, let the visiting day end on the terrace after a steamboat tour on the Ammersee. The hospitality and food were excellent! This visit with the wonderful view rounded off the day completely!

In itself the restaurant is beautiful. Unfortunately the service was slow and inattentive. You have to plan for long waiting times. In stark contrast was the arrogance of the wait staff. In particular, the restaurant manager was uncomfortable.

WOW, almost everything was right. Service perfect - except for the last 30 minutes when the restaurant was really full and the waiter was only busy. The restaurant management should think about something. Food and drinks perfect Value for money with this ambience and location with sunset is very good. Why almost: Deduction in the B note because of the mentioned service and the Kaiserschmarren has room for improvement;)

Highly professional and very well trained service - as you wish - very tasty food with reasonable prices and a great ambience / view! (Yes, you have to wait a little longer or have been forgotten, but the next time it was particularly quick)

Quite a steep store - at the same time, down-to-earth and personable. Our waiter on the beach: an imposing and very courteous appearance with selected good manners. The kitchen: high class. The ambience: exquisitely stylish and the places on the beach are very, very chic. The fact that style is very important here becomes clear from a few virtuoso details, how calmly and smartly you reacted to the coronary mathematics ... for that I give my appreciation.

Great quality of food. Very long waiting time for food to be served. One hour+. Asking price is higher than portion size of food.

Terribly unwelcoming service. Myself and my friends booked a table via Quandoo about 40 mins prior to our visit. We were really looking forward, as the weather was nice and the restaurant was supposed to provide a great view over Ammersee. When we arrived, we were told in a very impolite manner that Quandoo reservations are basically no good and "we must" reserve via phone, although the restaurant own website contained a link to Quandoo. After almost an intense conversation (which I wasn't looking forward to at all!) the gentleman with the French accent and last name condescended to provide us with a table. Needless to say, such an ending to our evening was very unexpected and very unpleasant. The food was OK, otherwise I would have left only one * for this place. If management of the restaurant reads these reviews, I strongly encourage you to: 1) fix your website - if you do not accept online reservations, remove them 2) hire polite and professional staff, your prices suggest you can afford them

Excellent restaurant, good food, seating in good weather either outside on the terrace or directly on the lake with a great view of the mountains. Nice service, prices ok.

Be prepared for terrible service

Super nice place ... amazing view on the lake. Overall ambience is so cozy ... it is just the place the sit down and chill 💗🥂 Will come always again :)

Fine cuisine and great location and location. In the beer garden one enjoys the view over the Ammersee with good wine. The service is good and adapted to the restaurant. Reservation in fine weather a must.

The food is good and the selection plentiful. But a deeper grip in the bag is needed. The view is heavenly (see photo) and the mood is very relaxing. The service is not very clear, since we were there twice and had completely different experiences with the visits. On the first day a somewhat unmotivated service force us "served". We were not really noticed and had to summon, if we wanted to order something, extra and were more or less left alone. But on the second day was a very friendly and motivated service staff to the site, the regular check-in with all guests, asking if everything is OK and if he could do something good for them. The waiting times were a lot shorter. It was right to be invited, well and reserved felt. This friendly way has finally brought me yet to give 4 stars and I can recommend the lounge for a conclusion of the day very much. :)

From us there is full score. The char was a culinary delight "Totally tender and tasty the dish was a poem. Also great." The beer garden was very nice set. The service is friendly u. attentively. Very tasteful decor and clean toilets. The high price is justified😉

Great atmosphere. Food was good, but unfortunately almost cold. Wines good selection. Rather expensive, but almost directly on the water.

Excellent food and ambiance. Nice staff and spectacular lake view. Just the room could be little bigger. Other than that wonderful place I would recommend.

Came here after having had a rude experience in a neighborhood restaurant. Was unexpectedly great food at an acceptable price. Definitely recommended for lunch or dinner.

Disappointing. Good food, but unfortunately service personnel has way too much to do. Lot of waiting for drinks, had to ask for everything several times, no one offered to tend to our coats.
